How to Recieve Eternal Life
The Plan of Salvation

Pastor - Raúl E. López Vergé md

1. Recognize your problem - we are all sinners.

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none that understandeth, There is none that seeketh after God; They have all turned aside, they are together become unprofitable; There is none that doeth good, no, not so much as one: Their throat is an open sepulchre; With their tongues they have used deceit: The poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood; Destruction and misery are in their ways; And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes. (Romans 3:10-18)

2. Recognize the result of your problem - the two deaths, the physical and the eternal.

For the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23a)

And if any was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:15)

3. Reconognize that there exists a solution - Christ died for you.

For while we were yet weak, in due season Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: for peradventure for the good man some one would even dare to die. But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:6-8)

4. Reconize that eternal life is a gift

But the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23b)

For by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not of works, that no man should glory. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

5. Accept the gift - ask God to give you the eternal life that Jesus offers.

[This] is, the word of faith, which we preach: [that] if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be put to shame. (Romans 10:8-11)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
It is this simple, but it takes something which is very difficult, it takes humility. Pray right now in your heart or out loud, confess your condition as a sinner and ask God to give you this gift of eternal life which Jesuscrist offers.

If you did this, God has given you eternal life. You are now a child of God and we are no longer friends but brothers. None the less, this eternal life is now in a state of infancy. It is necesary to feed it by reading the Bible. We can also help you. Visit our church regularly and we will help you understand the significance of this eternal life and how to grow in it.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and for ever. Amen. (II Peter 3:18)
